Leveling Your Lowbie Hunter, Part 2

So Syronis and Whisk are sitting at level 45 in the Hinterlands. We have been absolutely DISGUSTED with the horrible lack of quests ever since level 20. We might get lucky and get 6 or 7 that are close to our level and then the rest that we pick up are at least 5 levels too high. It's an outrage!

We're gonna back up a bit to where we left off last time, at (what should be) level 30. So you are level 30 and you, like us, may be a bit disgruntled at the apparently dismal time you are having leveling. Lemme tell you something: it gets worse. Not only does it get worse, it gets abyssmal. For some reason, Syronis is having the most difficult time gaining his stupid levels, and this is the first time I can ever remember something like this happening!

Granted, Ommadon started at 55. That's beside the point.

When I was leveling the shaman, I had too may quests at almost every level range you could think of. Syronis has NOT ENOUGH quests at every level range. And the even worse part is, half of his levels came through SKINNING. Yes, killing and skinning. That's where almost half of every level since 20 came from. I'm not quite sure how I managed to ding into the 40s in the first place.

Anyway, when you get to level 30, we here suggest either Arathi Highlands or Desolace. Now, we haven't leveled an Alliance character yet, so this recommendation is biased toward Horde, but they are both Contested territories, so hopefully it will make no difference whether you are Alliance or Horde leveling there.

Now we have never done Alterac Mountains, so if you find that Alterac levels you much better than anywhere else, more power to you. We found that a combination of both Arathi and Desolace somehow managed to get us to 40.

Ding! 40!

Now what? Well, at this point we highly suggest Feralas because we have leveled there in the past and it is a nice big region with (somewhat) plenty of quests. Said quests should get you at least to level 44 when you (Horde at least) can finally take quests out of the Hinterlands. Both Hinterlands and Feralas should get you to 50, but if you're having problems then add Felwood into your areas. If you're not 50 after those three areas, then try Tanaris or Un'Goro Crater.

So at level 50 where do you go? Winterspring. If you went ahead and added in Felwood, chances are you can finish those 3 areas at level 55 and at that point Winterspring can get you all the way to 60. What do you do at 60? Outland! Yay! There are an abundance of quests in Outland, whether you're Alliance or Horde, that will guide you through the areas and basically if you follow the quests you will hit 68 (but we recommend 70) in no time!

Our suggested zone order of Outland:
Hellfire Peninsula
Zangarmarsh
Nagrand
Netherstorm/Shadowmoon Valley (you can go either; they're both good)

Yay! 70! Northrend time! Here is our suggested Northrend zone order:
Howling Fjord
Dragonblight
Grizzly Hills
Sholazar Basin
Icecrown

With that, you're level 80 and ready to start those Heroics! Leveling is a long process, but it pays off in the end. Good Luck, and Happy Hunting! :)
